Do you have or want to purchase a silicone (or other) mold for ice-cubes, muffins, small portions of food?
Here is a list of ways to use them:
- Cubes of fruit juice OR add small pieces of fruit:
- Cubes of coffee, flavored or not (for example with our Apple Spice blend) to put in your hot or cold coffee, same idea with tea or herbal tea or Chaï milk (for a latte)
- Freeze individual portions: spaghetti sauce, marinara, alfredo, pesto, soup
- Mix herbs and oil (for example coconut or avocado oil)
- Bite-size snacks: muffins, Rice Krispie squares, brownies, cheesecake bites with popsicle sticks
- "silent" smoothies: prepare and freeze so you can use in the morning without waking everyone up with the sound of an appliance!): cubes of pureed fruit (bananas etc) or vegetables (spinache etc), or mic yogourt, oats and milk
- Baby food
- Pet food or snacks: for example mix dry food and humid food (from a can) and freeze then place in a bag
- Leftover bouillon or soup base
- Homemade savory butter (melt + your choice of spices + freeze)
- Desserts: Pudding, Jello, Caramel or Chocolate Sauce, Apple sauce (or other fruit sauce)
- To freeze food with dates that are close to their expiry date: yogurt etc
- Flavored water, for example for the holiday season: cranberries, mint + juice
- Lemon juice
- Hot dip (not yet baked or heated)
- Veggie Pâté or cretons
- CRAFTS: when you make your own body or home care products (make a few tests as it does not work with all molds)
- For your cocktails: milk (plant-based or other) +spices (our Apple Pie Spice would work well) + fruit (for example pine apple for a Pina Colada) or other
Let me know if you have any other ideas or share a link or pic for how you have used yours!
