Daniel of Driftwood Works Inc used to be a pro skateboarder. We have a lot of used skateboards. We take the grip take off and cut up the board into little pieces and then we soak it in epoxy. Then a mold is made and we cut up the mold into shapes suitable to make jewellery with.
This necklace was made from the cuttings of a skateboard that was donated to us after the owner finished using the board. Instead of throwing it out...we take it and make it into something wearable. If you want to donate your board, just let us know and we will gift you a piece of jewellery in return for your kindness.
